Today is a very special day for Team Telek@m, Migueo Cabral has got his first victory in division 1 after a very exciting race. Several riders tried to break away but the biggest teams would not allow them to go and in the final climb Migueo proved to be the strongest of the remaining riders.
Migueo Cabral stated
" Today is the greatest day of my life, at the start of the race my only ambition was to be placed in top 9 but i would have never thought that i could win. I would like to say thanks to my team mates who helped me till the last climb and manager Didier Brunel for keeping faith in me even when i was not performing well."
Didier Brunel Stated
" Migueo was magnificent today and he brings a brilliant victory to the team but the most important and amazing fact is not only that we have won our first race in division 1 today but that we have beaten great teams like EkerSvarvarna, TEAM Pablo Ibañez and Team Zyte who had sign up their star Äme Anderberg for this race. Beating so much big names make me very proud of being the manager of this team and as i said in my previous interview, we are going to make our way to top 15 and we hope to do it till the end of this season."
This first victory of Team Telek@m has certainly made all those who thought that manager Didier Brunel was joking when speaking about getting his team into the top positions change their mind. Now we are all waiting to see what their latest signings Kurt Swinnen will do in his first race and during the Prem Tour.
